Ryan Ray
Coach Ryan Ray is originally from Lufkin, Texas where he attended Lufkin High School and played soccer. After graduating high school, Coach Ray attended The University of Texas at Austin where he received a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in Education. During his time at UT, Coach Ray played club soccer as well as intramural and indoor soccer with a group of friends in various leagues in Austin.
Prior to Navarro Coach Ray worked in Round Rock as a middle school Spanish teacher and soccer coach where he led the Walsh Middle School Lady Wildcats to 3 consecutive district championships. After Round Rock, Coach Ray moved on to Hutto High School and worked as the assistant soccer coach for 2 years. During his time there the Lady Hippos qualified for the playoffs both years and were regional champs in year two.
Coach Ray is now entering his 5th year as the Head Girls Soccer coach at Navarro High School. He also works in the DELTA program with Mrs. Martinez as a credit recovery teacher. He is married to his lovely wife Cleo and has 1 dog & 1 cat.
