Anne Burnett
Ms. Burnett joins Navarro in
her first year of coaching Freshman Volleyball and Track. She comes from a family of athletes;
her parents met playing rugby in college at the University of Oklahoma, and
older brother walked on the Sooner’s soccer team. Coach
Burnett ran track and cross country at Westwood high school as a distance
runner. She mainly focused her athletic career as a competitive swimmer on
Westwood’s district champion swim team in breastroke and
butterfly. While Burnett didn’t actively compete during her time at St.
Edward’s University she continued to run and has competed in Austin’s Half
Marathon.
