Kyle Gruver
My name is Kyle Gruver and I'm entering my 13th year as a Navarro Viking. I grew up in the Austin Area, graduating from Bowie High School in 2002, where our baseball team finished 2nd in the state. After HS, I continued my career by attending Navarro Junior College and transferred to Saint Edwards University, where I received a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. After College, I was player/Head Coach in France for the LaGuerche Hawks of Britannia. Since 2016, I've managed the Austin Mudcats men's league baseball team.
During my 13 years at Navarro ECHS, I coached football for 8 years, and served as the JV Head Coach for football and baseball. In my most recent position, I've been the Baseball Varsity Assistant since 2015. I have experience as a Special Education Inclusion teacher for 10 years, and the last two years have been all Resource Social Studies. I have two daughters Kinsley (8) and Kaylen (5). When I'm not Coaching and Teaching you can find me enjoying the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
