Coach Amador was born and raised in Austin, TX, and graduated from Navarro (Lanier) in 2018, where he was part of the Viking soccer program. Growing up in the community, he played for local clubs such as East Austin Soccer Club and Millennium Soccer Club.

In 2022, Coach Amador returned to his alma mater as a student teacher while attending the University of Texas. During that year, he worked under former Viking Head Coach Chris Hellums, assisting primarily with the varsity team. He then served as the JVA coach from 2022–2024  then led the girls’ soccer program as Head coach in 2024–2025. This year, he is making his comeback as the Head Boys Soccer Coach.

In addition to leading the Vikings, Coach Amador also coaches at Town & Country Soccer Club. Outside of soccer, he enjoys spending time with family and his dog, Enzo, and is a passionate Austin FC fan.
