Alejandro Amador
Coach Amador was born and raised in Austin, Tx and graduated from Navarro (Lanier) in 2018, and was part of the soccer program. Coach Amador was a member of local clubs such as East Austin Soccer Club and Millennium Soccer Club while growing up in our Viking community. This past school year (2022) Coach Amador returned to his Alma Mater as a student teacher while attending the University of Texas. During his student teaching he worked under helped former Viking Head Coach Chris Hellums assisting primarily with the varsity team. Now, we are excited to welcome Alejandro back full time to Viking Nation! Coach Amador is excited to be back and help continue to build the program alongside new Head Coach Chris Perez.
Coach Amador will teach Spanish this upcoming school year and coach the boy's soccer JVA team. Outside of Navarro Coach Amador likes to spend time with family and his dog Enzo. Alejandro is also a huge Austin FC fan.
