Sahala Hardin
I’ve been teaching for over 15 years, and have been at Navarro for over 10 of those years. I coach girls Volleyball, Track & Field and judge Powerlifting. I have a little boy who is active in club soccer and my own personal training and nutrition coaching business outside of school. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Multidisciplinary science with an emphasis in biology, and a minor and secondary education. I was both a McNair Scholar and science education fellow for (HHMI/CISER) Howard Hughes Medical institute/ Center for Integration of Science Education and Research. In summary, I was a science nerd who worked in research and continue to base my coaching practices/ training on science & current research.
