Jacobi Simmons and Francklin Gonzales continued their impressive run to State this past weekend in Abilene, TX. These two outstanding athletes represented Navarro ECHS at the State Powerlifting Meet over Spring Break, and we couldn’t be more proud of their achievements! Jacobi Simmons competed in the 242 weight class and finished 12th in the state with incredible lifts: **Squat: 675 lbs **Bench: 435 lbs **Deadlift: 550 lbs **Total: 1660 lbs ?????? Francklin Gonzales competed in the 220 weight class and finished 28th in the state with impressive numbers: **Squat: 635 lbs **Bench: 350 lbs **Deadlift: 510 lbs **Total: 1495 lbs ?????? Both Jacobi and Francklin put in tireless work to earn their spots in the state meet and showed what true dedication looks like. Their performances are a testament to their commitment and hard work, and we are so proud to see them rise to the challenge on the state level.
