The Austin Navarro Powerlifting team competed this past Saturday at the Lehman Lobos Invitational in Kyle, Texas. The following lifters represented their school well and finish the meet strong! Markeon Ellis (Fr. ) 132lb. wt. class, finished 12th, with a total of 600lbs. Michael Hernandez (Soph.) 148lb. wt. class, finished 24th, with a total of 560lbs. Juan Hernandez ( Fr.) 181lb wt. class, finished 18th, with a total of 625lbs. Fredi Marin (Fr.) 198lb. wt. class, finished 16th, with a total of 925lbs. Alex Talavera (Sr.) 220lb. wt. class, finished 12th, with a total of 950lbs. Ramon Sanchez (Fr.) 220lb wt. class, finished 20th, with a total of 725lbs. Balmore Palacios (Sr.) SHW wt. class, finished 10th, with a total of 1215lbs. And Victor Evans (Sr.) SHW wt. class, finished 5th with 1305lbs total. Evans was in 7th place when he pulled 520lbs on the Deadlift to gain a 5th place medal.
