The Viking Baseball team beat Eastside Memorial 5-2 on Tuesday night at Nelson Field. In the first inning, the Vikings got their offense started. Brandon Kruser singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run for the Viks. The Vikings racked up 13 hits in the game. Zachary Heimann, Jose Adame, Jose Gomez, and Brandon Kruser each collected multiple hits for the Vikings. Zack Heimann led the team with three hits in four at bats. Jonathan Rico pitched the Vikings to victory allowing only one hit and zero runs over five innings while striking out eight and walking zero.
