Zach Heimann was a 4 year letter winner and 4 year varsity starter for Viking Baseball. Zach was selected unanimously as a 1st Team All-District Short Stop during his Junior year and was off to a great start to his Senior campaign before the season was ended. Zach Heimann was named the Viking Athletics Male Athlete of the Year for 2020. Zach will be continuing his baseball and academic career at Concordia University in the Fall. Q&A with Zach Heimann - 1. What is your favorite baseball memory? Freshman year game 2 against Travis hitting the game sealing double to put us up in the top of the 7th. 2. What advice would you give to younger Viking Baseball players? Always have role model character, because believe it on not people look up to you and want to be like you. 3. What was your favorite class or teacher at Navarro? English 4 with Mr. Linscomb or Physics with Mr. Berinsky 4. What are your plans after graduation? I plan to attend Concordia University in Austin and purse a degree in Business while continuing my baseball career as well.
