The Navarro Vikings traveled to Manor New Tech on Thursday night to kick off their season with the first scrimmage of the 2021 school year. The Varsity team showed a lot of positive energy that coincided with lots of positives on the field. There are still opportunities for improvement, as they head into the next week preparing for their next scrimmage against Lehman High School, the Vikings are looking to build off of this positive performance. The Freshman Viking football team was thrilled to be back on the field after having their year cut short due to COVID-19 last year. These young Vikings went out and competed exceedingly well. The Vikings stayed positive and looked to improve each drive. They are headed into next week seeking to improve their performance and prepare for Lehman High School as well. There is a bright future ahead for these young Vikings and we are excited to see what they will accomplish this year. Scrimmage # 2 @ Lehman HS Thursday 8/12/21 Freshman- 5:30 pm Varsity- 6:30 pm
