Viking Nation is honored to introduce our new Head Football Coach – Sebastian Velasquez. Coach Sebastian Velasquez is from Pearsall, Texas where he graduated from Pearsall High School. After high school, Coach Velasquez graduated from Texas Lutheran University with a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology. While at TLU, he played football for the Bulldogs at the NCAA D-III level. Coach Velasquez also has a M.S.Ed in Sports Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Coach Velasquez will be entering his 10th year as an educator/coach and has spent 3 years as the Navarro Vikings Offensive Coordinator. Coach Velasquez has had coaching stints at Dilley High School and Cotulla High School. Coach Velasquez is married to Amanda Velasquez and has two children. Michael (7) and Monica (7 months)!   Coach Velasquez said “I am excited to serve the students, campus, community, and alumni of Navarro ECHS. Our football program will continue to strive for excellence in life, academics, and athletics. Greater things to come for our Football Program! Go Viks! Vamos Vikingos!”
